REMINDER: Competitions are optional, but HIGHLY RECOMMENDED AND SUGGESTED [it's how you can get better too :)]
Team Maneuvers are divided into a "A", "B" and "C" team. (Over the last couple years, we've had no B team, only A and C.) The teams are depicted by your *skating level* "A" team cuts off at Pre-Gold. "C" team cuts off at Silver. You compete as a team. One member of the team represents a skill; whether that is, spins, moves or jumps. (Typically, one person per skill, maybe 2)
In Collegiate skating you CAN choose to skate up or down a level. You can also stay at your own skill set. BUT if you choose to compete up or down, you stay there for the remaining of the season.
*Skating level* refers to testing within the USFSA guidelines.
